Healthy Eats Cooking Class

Jennings County Youth Foundation is hosting a cooking class in collaboration with Purdue Extension on April 30th at 6PM at our new location. The address is 420 N. State Street, North Vernon, IN 47265.

Children in Kindergarten and above can join us for this activity. The children will be learning how to prepare well-balanced meals. They will make walking tacos, wraps, and a dessert. The registration fee is $5 per child. Financial assistance is available. Please email contact@jcyf.in if you need help with the cost. All materials are included in the cost of the event. Space is limited. Masks are required and we will follow CDC guidelines. $5 is due at the time of registration and is non-refundable unless we have to cancel the event for some reason.

Parents will drop children off and pick them back up 7:30PM. Please bring your child inside and sign them in. Casey Ernstes will be monitoring the event. She is a teacher in Jennings County and certified in first aid and CPR. Our guest host for the night will be Melissa Wiesehan from Purdue Extension.
