The Affordable Christmas toy store is run entirely by volunteers with donations from the community. It is a one day, first-come, first serve event where toys are available to purchase for youth ages birth to 18 years old at significantly reduced prices (up to 75% discount).  We have a limit of 3 toys per child or $20 per child.  Toys that retail for $20 are only $5 and there are many toys that are 2 for $1 that do not count toward the per child limit. Free gift wrapping is also available by members of the Jennings County 4H Barefoot Bandits club.

There are no guidelines and no qualifications.  Volunteers serve families in Jennings County with limited resources during the holidays. This program is intended to help those who do not qualify for or who missed the deadlines for other programs or are too proud to ask for help. It empowers families and lets them participate in the Christmas spirit by providing a hand up not a handout.
