Serving Jennings County children since 2010.
Jennings County Youth Foundation, JCYF, is a community-based nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization ran entirely by volunteers that was started in October 2010. We work with other organizations throughout Jennings County to support the needs of the youth in Jennings County. Our organization has 4 main programs that helped provide services to more than 14,000 Jennings County children last year: Summer Food Program, Summer Kids Camp, Thanksgiving for Everyone, and Affordable Christmas. We also began the process of bringing Boys & Girls Club programming to Jennings County and raised $15,000 to begin programming. In April of 2021, we moved into a new building which allows us to now provide affordable youth activities to the community. Throughout the year we look for other ways beside our main programs to support the youth as well.
